Garlands Call Centres has announced it is recruiting UK staff for a new corporate headquarters that will employ up to 250 people.
The company provides outsourced call centre services such as customer service, technical assistance, debt collection and credit management.
The facility, which will be located in Hartlepool Marina, will house company management, finance, HR and IT operations and provide additional space for call centres. It should be completed by September 2004.
The company already has two offices in Hartlepool Marina and one in Middlesbrough City Centre.
In the past 12 months, Garlands has seen employee numbers and turnover double, according to company CEO Chey Garland.
The new building will allow the company to further expand its business and training facilities and create a new "state-of-the-art technology suite", he said in a statement.
