The annual Byte Night sleep-out took place this month to raise awareness and money for Action for Children.

silicon.com joined a group of hardy CIOs at the sleep-out by London's Tower Bridge and got their views on why they wanted to get involved.

Meanwhile, Cathy Holley and Vicky Maxwell Davies from Boyden Global Executive Search offered their top tips on writing that all-important CV. Among their pearls of wisdom - don't mention any strange hobbies. Watch the video to find out more.

If you thought a job interview is bad, think how silicon.com senior reporter Nick Heath felt when he was put through his driving paces by an electronic driving instructor at the GreenRoad Technologies Safety Centre. Find out how he did in the video.
