This month saw silicon.com taking a look at the next generation of tech graduates filling out IT departments across the nation.
A number of graduates who have opted to pursue a career in IT with British Airways told silicon.com why they favour a techie job in this video.
BA's CIO Paul Coby also revealed his thoughts on IT's image problems. "We've got to make people understand how extraordinarily interesting using technology in business or government or the charitable sector is," he told silicon.com.
Coby also shares how BA attracts top drawer graduates and what the airline's latest intake of tech new starters can expect in their first 18 months on its training scheme.
This month also saw silicon.com catching up with Graham Young, head of IT at Foster + Partners, the architects behind some of London's best loved modern buildings including the Gherkin.
Young revealed how he and his team cope with the huge demands from users who have creative visions that push bandwidth and processing power to the full.
And finally, Simon Hazlett of Majedie explained just how you can run a business with no IT team or technology of your own, after the asset manager decided to outsource all of its information systems.
