1,200 UK jobs to go at Fujitsu

Poor economy taking its toll

Up to 1,200 UK employees are to lose their jobs to redundancy at tech company Fujitsu by the end of the year.

A spokesman for the company told silicon.com sister site ZDNet UK it was still undecided which parts of the workforce would be affected by the cuts.

Fujitsu said it was making the UK job cuts due to "lower than anticipated revenues".
