Liberal Arts propaganda that a History degree is equivalent to a STEM degree has been very successful.

Your shoppping list should list Golden Carrots, and Social Engineering. I did a first degree in Litrerature and History and Post-grad HR before doing Post-grad Computer Science.

Much as I hate to trash Humanities departments up and down the country, a Higher Education Technical Qualification has a number of characteristics which a liberal arts degree lacks, namely; it is difficult to dumb down the course, it requires problem solving skills (highly valued and for good reason), and most importantly, you can get a job with one.

Don't be afraid to tell school children the truth.
