I was disappointed to read that more women are resigning from I.T jobs. I, myself, embraced the subject because I saw it as a fast developing career which held a major impact on the way we live our lives – and I wanted to help shape the future of the I.T. revolution. But, I.T. has always suffered from a ‘geeky’ image which has done little to entice women into the industry. This is a loss for the I.T sector and I hope to see it start to do more to encourage females into this dynamic sector, especially with so much young talent emerging and an ongoing skills shortage.
