OK this survey is quoting teachers on wifi & whiteboards when around 20% (average) admit that they are not confident about ICT.
This is like asking me what I think about the provision of anesthetics within the NHS - I'm a techie not an anesthetist.
When I spent some time in a school we had a very good provision of interactive whiteboards & I kept track of hours used - these ranged from 40 hours in one year to over 1000 hours per year. Only the maths department really used the full capabilities of the boards - most teachers used the boards for projecting onto and never interacted with them.
As for wifi - what need is there in a school for wifi? Is it so that the kids can play interactive games on their mobiles during lessons? To keep control of what goes on the PCs need to be hardwired and locked down both physically and in software usage.
Oh & YES the teachers are starved of training and IT is pushed too much into departments like history and RE - but that's the government and its stupid targets.
