I'm not convinced about this at all. I have worked indirectly for JPR and find the his 'facebook' world of management a slightly alien place for most mid to low-tier employees who end up being bombarded with countless management missives. Some may actually contain important information whilst others are no more than self congratulatory management hype. This atmosphere just does not encourage the required close co-operation which is at the centre of this new company model. People by nature still require a true personal understanding of their contemporaries before they are willing to trust anyone enough to enter into a complex multi functional business, especially a 'virtual' one which relies several companies co-operating to provide just a part of the jigsaw . Whilst the sentiment is to be applauded at a senior management level, its back to the drawing board because most low end operatives do not have enough time to read all of the distributed information let alone time trawl round the web seeking new company friends and contacts, they end up being just plain 'confused from the gutter'
