The skills crisis is far from over, in fact it will probably be much worse because the number of entry level jobs going abroad will increase, if that possible, training is being cut back across the board. Sure there is a glut of IT people, but as the previous commet points out, there are fewer jobs and more looking. GCSE ITC is putting students off because its 'boring' I quote from experience attending Careers Fairs and talking to 13 - 17 yrs old, girls are avoiding anything to do with 'computers' which is a real problem. - Rant over
