Really, I get so tired of all this whinging bull about skills shortages. Why don't they just close the whole damn IT industry down in this country and ship the lot to India and be done with it? UK employers don't want to employ anybody over 40, they don't want to provide any training, they just want to milk the short-term profits and churn successive generations of graduates. So why not just give up on it, like they've given up on making cars, motorbikes, electronics, in fact making just about anything, and get it all done by cheap foreign workers instead; and then for Pete's sake spare us from their perpetual moaning about skill shortages.
