Healthcare IT specialist HBO & Company (HBOC) has announced plans to relocate its UK headquarters to Warwick with the creation of 100 new jobs.
The international company cited the UK government's recent White Paper, which promises more IT spending in the National Health Service, as part of the driving force for its decision to invest in the Midlands.
Many IT healthcare specialists have pulled out of the UK market in recent years but HBOC claims its contrasting decision displays its market strength in the UK.
The new plant should be in full operation by September 1999.
