Factpoint releases Web page accreditation software

By Polly Raymond

Published: 9 June 1999 16:06 BST

Net company, Factpoint, launched its flagship Web content management product in the UK and Europe this week.

The Content Certification Suite is designed to help healthcare suppliers improve their online presence and works by stamping each individual Web page with a badge of accreditation - which indicates that page content is up to date and approved for publication.

Healthcare suppliers are under pressure to ensure Web content is constantly monitored and updated due to the critical nature of their products, according to Factpoint.

An unauthorised attempt to change information on the Web page will result in Factpoint's software alerting the IT department of the attack.

In addition to the healthcare market, Factpoint targets publishing, media, manufacturing and finance companies which need to constantly improve the standard of Web content they produce.
