The NHS is on target with its millennium preparations, according to its latest monitoring report.
The report - published every two months - reflects the state of IT in the NHS as at the end of July this year. It rates all healthcare sector systems according to the Action 2000 'traffic light' system which has been adopted across all government departments.
No systems are in the 'red' danger level while 87 per cent are at 'amber' with some work needed, and 13 per cent are rated 'blue', which means there is no disruption likely at all.
These figures compare with 96 per cent amber and 4 per cent blue in May.
