The UK Cabinet Office will spend £15m over the next five years on a project to modernise its IT infrastructure.
The contract for the Novus project has been picked up by CMG and Compaq. The two companies will design, build, operate and support a computer system for 1,500 users, mostly based in central London.
Compaq - the incumbent supplier for the last three years - will install a network and provide on-site management of the Cabinet Office's IT assets.
