Informix invests in thermal imaging specialist

Internet software vendor, Informix, has made an equity investment in thermal imaging specialist Computerised Thermal Imaging (CTI ).

CTI is currently using Informix's Internet Foundation 2000 database to develop and deploy breast cancer thermal imaging systems across the Web and in hospitals worldwide.

The two companies had previously announced a long-term strategic alliance.
