Over the last decade I have heard your argument many times about numerous subjects. Your argument is seriously flawed, and those that have expectations such as yours pose a serious problem to our society.

Your position appears to be that if it is not 100% certain it should not be implemented. Transfer that same standard to your publication; if you are not 100% correct, you should not publish. To be 100% correct you would have to be intimately involved in the development and implementation of any system to be certain you understand each and every detail of the proposal, are you?

I seriously doubt there are many things in this world up to your standards. The Justice system is not, the Airlines are not, the same goes for schools, drivers licensing, the post office, credit companies, even the news organizations, should they also be discontinued?

As for banks canceling cards and pins when fraud has occurred, what would be the difference in issuing a new card coded with some type of information indicating its authenticity and canceling the previously issued card? Obviously this is a simple idea, maybe not practical but I would leave that up to the experts working on the problems. With our level of technology I think it should be possible to verify the biometric card through a single database controlled by some type of authority that could flag accounts or take whatever action necessary to stop the fraud.

One final point, if you are knowledgeable enough to determine that a proposal is faulty, should not you be able to provide an alternative, or at least improve on the design to find a workable solution?
