I have spent the last three weeks removing viruses from my computer. In the course of this I have had to purchase anti-virus software and even a new hard drive. I am very angry about how viruses have affected me personally. Multiply my time and expense by that of hundreds of thousands of other people and the huge size and cost of the problem becomes apparent. I therefore have no sympathy with anyone who writes virus programs and believe that a 15 year jail term is very apprpriate.
