It's about time people started seeing sense regarding this issue. The PS2 is a great product with the potential for becoming a home entertainment swiss-army-knife - but only if they open it up for people to do what they want with it.
At the moment, Sony's grip on what you can and can't do with a PS2 is even more restrictive than Microsoft's on Windows-powerd PC's - yet in Sony's case this is the first time I know of that the legality of this has been challenged.
I hope that more rulings like this are son to follow. I believe that this is in the best interestd of Sony and its customers.
