While perhaps a solution to the major difficulties with e-voting will be found by 2008... If the GLA are going to be buying the system this or next year then they will have the technology of TODAY in 2008. This technology is flawed and provably does not meet the basic requirements of a free and fair vote.
This is an utter waste of tax payer funds for no real benefits whatsoever. E-voting does not boost turnout significantly... It's just a mirage that politicians keep chasing.
