Cryptic Symbols on Hardware:
Does anyone intuitively understand the cryptic symbols used on IT hardware?
My fax machines quickly gain a sticky label which says "Place Pages Face Upwards!"
Some machines even have the extra warning: "This machine only faxes single-sided documents!"
(How often do we forget this having finally finished a vital document after a long day?)
As for the cryptic symbols on car controls .....
