With regard to Software piracy, I may have some sympathy for the software companies when they themselves don the mantle of integrity. I am fed to the back teeth of being persuaded to pay for software that does not meet the claims made for it, is very little different from the preceding version or, in many cases, simply does not work.
When the Industry starts acting honestly then I might start regarding software piracy as a crime. As it is, piracy is simply one pack of criminals stealing from another.
