Tactical voting is one way that technology may actually sway the final vote - but it won't be thanks to the parties themselves. At www.tacticalvoter.net Liberal and Labour voters can find and trade votes with each other, so as to have the best chance of getting their candidates in, at the expense of the Tories. With so much hinging on marginals, this technique (which is only possible thanks to the web) will most likely change a few of the results on May 5th.
