The file sharing networks are little more than a transport mechanism. If I rob a bank, is the highways agency responsible for providing me with a road and the motor manufacturer responsible for producing a car - therefore, could the bank sue the higways agency and "Ford" for enabling me to rob their bank ??

I appreciate there's a lot of piracy out there, but responsible usage is down to the user. Microsoft could also be blamed for providing an OS on which the file sharing software is run - where would the blame stop??

And I wasn't aware that Grokster et al marketed their file sharing software primarily for software piracy ??
