The Abbey have a lot to answer for in luring a vulnerable employee into an interrogation session. I hope an investigation shows them up for the merciless people-unfriendly corporate entity that they have become, a long way from the Abbey National of old. They treat existing customers requiring assistance with the same grace. I hope anyone considering becoming their customer, especially potential mortgage enquirers, will think again seriously!
