3 cheers for a rare dose of honesty from this government.

Whatever the civil liberties issues, what I resent most is the patronising way I am told not to worry my little proletarian head about the cost issue, because the fee will be capped.

The issue I see is not the cost to ME, I can afford it, it is the cost to the country! Much as I love IT, I don't like to see the government pouring my taxes into ill-conceived IT projects.
