You all miss the point...

'Nicking' someone sitting on a wall using a laptop is FAR easier than catching burglars, rapists, muggers, etc. (becuase they don't sit on walls doing what they do for all to see).

Despite a lot we hear to the contrary, police are only human, and like the rest of us, want an easy life...

And, yes I agree - he did nothing wrong. Are we going to be arrested using WiFi in Starbucks?
