The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (Liffe) is to change its closing time to conform with that of the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
From 20 July, equity derivatives trading hours will be extended to 4.30pm, to fall in line with the underlying cash market. The move follows the LSE's decision to begin trading half an hour later in order to improve liquidity on its new Sets electronic trading system.
