The Business & Accounting Software Developers Association (Basda) has released long-awaited testing software for euro-compliance. The system allows companies to make their finance software handle triangulation - the EC-approved process for gradually converting currencies to the euro.
A spokeswoman for the top euro-advisory organisation said: "These tests aren't available anywhere else, and it would seem users are very keen to get hold of them, judging by the number of calls we've had about it recently."
The Basda spokeswoman claimed companies must be able to incorporate this process into their finance and accounting systems whether their countries are in or out of the EMU.
The tests can be obtained from Basda.org.uk.
