In Brief: Iona gives helping hand to Handelsbanken

Svenska Handelsbanken - the largest banking institution in the Nordic region - is to use Iona Technologys' OrbixTalk messaging product to build a global trading application.

Known as Billboard, the application has been specifically designed to collect pricing and availability information on stocks and shares from six locations across the world. It will allow Handelsbanken to disseminate information electronically to traders in real-time.
