Corechange today launched what it claims is the first 'role-based' corporate intranet portal software.
The role-based feature being offered by Corechange allows the portal interface to be adjusted according to the employee it's serving.
Ulf Arnetz, president and CEO of Corechange, said the software has been successful in US trials. "The real benefit with corporate portals is the integration between intranet and Internet - this is exactly how people want their information," he said.
Analyst house, The Meta Group, predicts that 70 per cent of top companies will be using corporate portal software within the next three years.
