A network supplier who allegedly repackaged Novell upgrades as original software, has paid $625,000 cash in an out-of-court settlement.
Computer Add-Ons agreed never to deal in Novell products again without written permission. The New York-based company had allegedly sold repackaged software to customers who were not eligible for upgrades.
Novell filed a suit in October 1998 which also accused Computer Add-Ons of using Novell's logo to give the impression they were partners.
