Troubled retail giant, Marks & Spencer (M&S), has teamed up with services company ICL to enable users to donate money to the charity Children's Promise online.
The Web site, at http://www.marks-and-spencer.co.uk/promise , will accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and M&S charge card donations.
The charity aims to raise money for disadvantaged children by asking for one hour's pay from every British worker. Money raised will go to Barnados, BBC Children in Need, Childline, The Children's Society, Comic Relief, NCH Action for Children and NSPCC.
