Silicon.com unveils first winner of F1 competition

Silicon.com is delighted to announce the first winner of its Formula 1 competition.

Mark Birkinshaw, IT manager, Abacus Group Services, will be off to spend a day at former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer's Motor Sensation.

The Motor Sensation is a new motorsport driving event, and offers visitors the opportunity to drive cars including the Audi TT Sprint Lotus Elise Sport 135, and Toyota Land Cruiser.

Silicon.com is also offering viewers the chance to attend the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 23 April 2000. The winner of this competition will be a guest of Jaguar Racing at the racing suite in the Paddock Club at Silverstone. Along with first class hospitality, you'll have the opportunity to meet Jackie Stewart and current Formula One drivers, Johnny Herbert and Eddie Irvine.
