Ozzie, founder, chairman and CEO of Groove, announced a 10,000-licence deal to provide UK pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) with the P2P software it initially released for preview in October 2000.

The collaborative application will allow scientists using the technology at GSK to exchange and share files, reports, and to send text, video or voice messages in real time. Full, centralised server storage and administrative capabilities are to be offered in subsequent versions.

The Groove software is priced at $49 per enterprise user with individual pricing for the purchase of the program and services to be announced later in the year.
