European IT consultancy, Anite has acquired Parsec Systems, an ebusiness solutions specialist, for £27m dollars.
However, all but £7m of the deal is dependent on Parsec reaching previously set profit and revenue targets by the end of April 2004.
In a statement Anite CEO John Hawkins said: "[Parsec] adds at a stroke a significant enhancement to our ebusiness offering as well as bringing new core skills and clients to our IT consultancy business in the UK."
Parsec's clients include Skandia Life, Halifax and Mellon Global Investment.
