HP spree continues with Indigo acquisition

Dutch firm next as Carly keeps ticking off names on her 'to do' list...

HP has followed up its move to purchase Compaq with the acquisition of Dutch printing technology firm Indigo for around $630m.

HP is already a shareholder in Indigo, with a 13.4. per cent stake, but its move now will see it acquire all outstanding shares.

HP sees the deal as a foot in the door of the lucrative commercial printing market.
