NTL plans aerial sell-off

Cable firm looks to recoup cash...

Cable television firm NTL is planning a sale of it aerial and transmission business.

The company, which earlier this year was forced to lay off 5,000 staff, has brought in Goldman Sachs to help find a buyer for the business which it values at £1.4bn.
