Spanish MPs fined for porn in parliament

Not the subtlest digital blunder either...

Three Spanish politicians, from the country's right-wing Popular Party, have been hit with fines after they were caught looking at porn in the workplace.

Their misdemeanours were made all the more shocking by the fact they were actually in chambers taking part in a government debate on domestic violence when they became distracted by smutty emails.

Eagle-eyed journalists, who were in attendance at the debate and could see the MPs' computer screens, exposed the severe breach of protocol which later led to disciplinary action.

One of the three men, Miguel Angel Perez-Huysmans, who was hit with a E900 fine, has also resigned as president of his party's youth movement.

Perez-Huysmans was described by unnamed female colleagues as "like a pre-pubescent schoolboy", according to a report in The Times, and all three were labelled as "repugnant and disgusting".
