LogicaCMG has announced it has landed a £31m contract with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to provide its pensions and payroll service.
The seven-year deal will see LogicaCMG providing a managed pensions and payroll service in conjunction with its pension admin partner Paymaster to the MPS' 46,000 officers and staff.
The new service will make greater use of IT systems and will provide the MPS with more opportunities to tailor benefits packages and introduce self-service options for staff in the future.
The contract marks the latest in a series of public sector wins for the outsourcer, including an £8m win with Barnet council and a £5.5m contract with Cardiff City Council.
