Vodafone has unveiled a trio of deals aimed at expanding its enterprise offerings.

Its UK arm has acquired two companies: Aspective and Isis Communications Management.

Aspective is a consultancy which works on mobilising enterprises' data such as CRM and salesforce automation. Isis Communications Management is a SME-focused seller of customer services, fleet management and bespoke managed services.

Vodafone has also signed a deal with mobile working company Fiberlink and will resell Fiberlink's Extend360 Mobility Platform bearer-agnostic remote access offering from early next year.

Vodafone hopes the deals will help reposition it as more of a service provider than just a mere carrier.

Financial details of the deals had not been disclosed at the time of going to press.

Kyle Whitehill, director of Vodafone UK's enterprise business unit, said in a statement: "We are focused on developing our capability in three core areas: applications, access and service.

"In the next three years Vodafone UK will become much more than a mobile network operator and will play a significant role as an integrator of seamless communications."
