I take it Mr. Bloor is a mobile phone junkie ? The whole point of the ban, like speed limits !, is to make sure that drivers drive responsibly even when the police are not present, for fear that they may be. If we take Mr. Bloors logic to the limit then there would be no laws on the road and we would all drive as we see fit, any speed no rights of way etc. The police would merely enforce the "dangerous driving" law when appropriate. Clearly it would be a disaster since nearly all drivers "drive responsibly" at all times no matter what they are doing :-/ You just have to ask them to find out that is true :-O Well they know best, it's always someone else who has an accident!

I can drive safely says the boy racer.
