It can be good, but also has it's pitfalls. Workers feeling alienated and the feeling of 'missing out' in office politics - there are issues that have been around for years with homeworkers, but I for one am moving my bank account primarily because the bank has offshored British jobs to India, and last night it took me ages to get the guy at the other end to understand me. I guess it's the same in the US.
