Interesting coincidences (iIf I remember correctly):
- the Data Protection Act 1998 was finally fully implemented on 24 October 2007 (end of transitional period for paper records)
- wasn't there a major political party who was going to include scrapping of the DPA in its manifesto for the election that never was? and aren't they keeping quite about that now?
