I am also willing to share my information, and rarely check out the privacy policies before doing so. But when I have, I have seen that many sites display the TRUSTe logo in their privacy policy
TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit initiative whose mission is to build users’ trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the principles of disclosure and informed consent. This is great for American consumers, but do you know if there is something similar for European consumers?
