Companies House (part of the old DTI) demands that UK company directors supply much of this security information - or risk criminal prosecution.
Companies House then sells this information online to anyone.
With paper documents, it even sells facsimiles of directors' signatures.
So, the UK government has already made much of my "personal" and "security" information public, online.
Strange that the UK government still lectures me about being careful with my information.
