AT&T president David Dorman has resigned from the 3Com board of directors to concentrate on the restructuring process at AT&T.
Dorman's resignation - announced Friday - was effective immediately. A committee has been set up to replace him on the 3Com board.
AT&T has been undergoing intensive restructuring recently. Last month it agreed to sell its cable operations to Comcast and its wireless unit was spun off earlier this year.
