Former IBM chief to kiss and tell
How I transformed IBM from lumbering behemoth to corporate dynamo...
By Suzanna Kerridge

Former IBM chief Lou Gertsner has signed up with publishers HarperCollins for a kiss-and-tell tale of how he saved Big Blue from extinction.
Gertsner, who received a $4m advance for the book, is widely accredited with bringing the company back to profitability and significantly boosting its share price when he took over the reins 10 years ago.
In a statement, Gertsner said he had frequently been asked what he did to bring the company back to life.
Sam Palmisano took over from Gertsner on 1 March this year.
The book will be published this autumn, said HarperCollins.
