easyGroup IP under new leadership
New MD takes the helm...

easyGroup IP, the company which owns and licenses the 15 'easy' brands has appointed a new managing director, Anthony Robb-John.

The appointment is likely to be of interest to a number of companies that have locked horns with easyGroup in recent years over alleged infringements of its intellectual property.

Sky's ISP arm Easynet and Orange are just two of the companies to have been drawn into legal wranglings with easyGroup.

Robb-John will take charge on 1 December.

Among the brands licensed by easyGroup are budget airline easyJet, car rental company easyCar and mobile phone operator easyMobile.
