UK companies also offer greater levels of assistance to workers, with more than half (52 per cent) of businesses offering 24x7 IT support.
Only one-third (34 per cent) of companies in EMEA and 40 per cent of companies globally offer such round-the-clock assistance.
Three-quarters of UK workers use computers or computer-driven devices, with 48 per cent of the UK's companies approving of staff using corporate IT systems for personal projects.
But Blighty is lagging behind the rest of the world for dishing out mobile devices to its staff, with 46 per cent using these gadgets for work, compared to 54 per cent across EMEA and 49 per cent globally.
