In November silicon.com waded in to settle the thorny issue of which smartphone is better for business: the BlackBerry or the iPhone.

Then travelling back in time to the 1950s, silicon.com looked at the golden age of technological innovation that followed World War II.

Ben Russell, curator of mechanical engineering at the Science Museum in London, talked silicon.com through its Birth of Hi-Tech Britain exhibition, a collision of technology and the colourful sci-fi of comic book hero Dan Dare.
